Thank you all for your patience during the trash contract transition.  Good news, the townhomes are now on schedule to have yard waste collected on Saturdays.  Please keep in mind that yard waste must be placed in a yard waste bag or other appropriate bin, not in plastic bags.  Additionally, bulk pickup items cannot be taken out with regular trash, please see the trash collection FAQ for further information.
A special thanks goes out to Cate R. and kids as well as Ed and Martha P. for coming out to the Fall Cleanup Event!  Congratulations to Nick R. for winning the $100 raffle.

Tips for residents to reduce the risk of snakes coming onto their properties:

  • Certain plants like marigold, wormwood, West Indian lemon grass, Sarpgandha and garlic are natural repellent against snakes.
  • Spreading human hair (taken from a brush or collected after a DIY home haircut) around the perimeter of your yard.  Snakes hate humans as much as some humans hate snakes.
  • Clove & Cinnamon Oil: Clove and cinnamon oil are effective snake repellents.
  • *NOTE* Ammonia is not recommended as it is not environmentally friendly.”
